संजय उवाच इत्युक्तवति गाज़ेये अभिवाद्योपमन्त्रय च । राधेयो रथमारुह् प्रायात् तव सुतं प्रति,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! गंगानन्दन भीष्मके ऐसा कहनेपर राधानन्दन कर्ण उन्हें प्रणाम करके उनकी आज्ञा ले रथपर आरूढ़ हो आपके पुत्र दुर्योधनके पास चला गया
sañjaya uvāca ity uktavati gāṅgeye abhivādyopamantrya ca | rādheyo ratham āruhya prāyāt tava sutaṃ prati ||
Sañjaya disse: Ó rei, quando Bhīṣma, filho do Ganges, falou assim, Karṇa—filho de Rādhā—curvou-se diante dele, despediu-se após receber seu conselho, subiu ao seu carro e partiu em direção a teu filho (Duryodhana).
