प्रजज्वाल रणे पार्थो विधूम इव पावक: । भरतश्रेष्ठ) इस प्रकार दसवें दिनके पूर्वाह्नकालमें उन महारथियोंको पराजित करके कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन रणभूमिमें धूमरहित अग्निके समान प्रकाशित होने लगे
prajajvāla raṇe pārtho vidhūma iva pāvakaḥ |
Sañjaya disse: No auge da batalha, Pārtha (Arjuna) fulgiu como um fogo sem fumaça. Tendo subjugado aqueles grandes guerreiros de carro na manhã antes do décimo dia, o filho de Kuntī brilhou no campo de batalha—sua proeza parecia pura e desimpedida, como chama sem fumaça.
