सर्वमुक्तं यथातत्त्वं तस्माच्छममवाप्रुहि । भारत! यहाँ सूर्यका प्रमाण बताया गया, इन दोनोंसे अधिक विस्तार रखनेके कारण राहु यथासमय इन सूर्य और चन्द्रमाको आच्छादित कर लेता है। महाराज! आपके प्रश्नके अनुसार शास्त्रदृष्टिसे ग्रहोंके विषयमें संक्षेपसे बताया गया। ये सारी बातें मैंने आपके सामने यथार्थरूपसे उपस्थित की हैं। अतः आप शान्ति धारण कीजिये || ४६-४७ ह ।। यथोद्दिष्टं मया प्रोक्ते सनिर्माणमिदं जगत्‌

sarvam uktaṁ yathā-tattvaṁ tasmāc chamaṁ avāpruhi | bhārata! yathā-uddiṣṭaṁ mayā prokte sa-nirmāṇam idaṁ jagat |

Sañjaya disse: “Declarei tudo exatamente como é na verdade; portanto, ó Bhārata, recupera a tua calma. Como eu havia indicado, descrevi este universo juntamente com sua ordem e sua formação.”
