Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene

The verse highlights solidarity and rightful leadership: the Pāṇḍava brothers act together under Yudhiṣṭhira’s kingship, suggesting that even in warfare, action should be anchored in duty, unity, and responsible command.
Sañjaya enumerates the principal Pāṇḍava figures—Yudhiṣṭhira, Bhīma, and the twins Nakula and Sahadeva (Mādrī’s sons)—as they come into focus in the battle account, marking their coordinated presence at this point in the war narrative.
