भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
भ्रातरश्न महेष्वासास्त्रिदशा इव वासवम् | भीष्मके शिविरकी ओर जाते हुए पुरुषश्रेष्ठ दुर्योधनके पीछे सारे जगत्के महाधनुर्धर कौरवपक्षीय नरेश तथा विशाल धनुष धारण करनेवाले उसके भाई उसी प्रकार जा रहे थे
bhrātaraś ca mahēṣvāsās tridāśā iva vāsavam |
Karna disse: “E seus irmãos — arqueiros poderosos —, juntamente com os grandes arqueiros do lado dos Kaurava, seguiram o mais eminente dos homens, Duryodhana, enquanto ele se dirigia ao acampamento de Bhīṣma, assim como os deuses seguem Indra.”
