Nakula’s Declaration and the Uñchavṛtti Brāhmaṇa’s Superior Merit (Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 92)
विशेषं चैव कर्तास्मि पुनः: पुनरतीव हि । “जो जिस आहारसे उत्पन्न हुआ है, उसे वही प्राप्त होगा तथा मैं बारंबार अधिक मात्रामें विशेष आहारकी भी व्यवस्था करूँगा
vaiśampāyana uvāca | viśeṣaṃ caiva kartāsmi punaḥ punaḥ atīva hi | yo yasya āhārasya utpannaḥ sa taṃ prāpsyati tathā ca ahaṃ bāraṃbāram adhikamātrāyāṃ viśeṣāhārasya api vyavasthāṃ kariṣyāmi |
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Além disso, farei uma provisão especial — repetidas vezes, e em grande medida. Quem tiver surgido de certo tipo de sustento alcançará esse mesmo sustento; e eu providenciarei repetidamente, em quantidade aumentada, até mesmo alimentos especiais.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
That provision should be appropriate to each being’s nature and origin—what one is sustained by is what one should receive—and that a righteous giver/organizer must ensure repeated and abundant arrangements without partiality.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration within the Aśvamedhika context, a commitment is voiced to make repeated special arrangements for sustenance, ensuring that each recipient obtains the fitting kind of food and that additional special provisions are supplied in greater measure.
