सक्तुप्रस्थलवैस्तैरहि तदाहं काड्चनीकृत:
saktuprasthalavaistair ahi tadāhaṃ kāñcanīkṛtaḥ
“Com aqueles punhados de grão tostado e aquelas medidas de alimento, então eu, por assim dizer, fui transformado em ouro — feito radiante e abençoado.” No enquadramento moral do narrador, até uma oferta pequena, dada com o espírito correto, torna-se espiritualmente transformadora, elevando o doador acima da pobreza material para o mérito e o valor interior.
श्षशुर उवाच
That the ethical and spiritual value of a gift is not measured by its quantity but by sincerity, need, and right intention; even a meagre offering can ‘make one golden’—i.e., confer inner nobility and merit.
