अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

एवमेतदिति प्राहुस्तदभूल्लोमहर्षणम् । उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेन आदि भाइयों और द्रौपदीने एक स्वरसे कहा--'हाँ, महाराजका कहना ठीक है।” इस महान् त्यागकी बात सुनकर सबके रोंगटे खड़े हो गये
evam etad iti prāhus tad abhūl lomaharṣaṇam |
“Assim é”, responderam; e o momento foi daqueles que fazem arrepiar. Mesmo depois de ele ter falado assim, Bhīmasena e os demais irmãos, juntamente com Draupadī, disseram a uma só voz: “Sim — o que o rei diz é correto.” Ao ouvirem o relato de tamanha renúncia, a todos se eriçaram os pelos, tomados de reverência pelo peso ético daquele sacrifício.
