धनं चास्मै ददुर्भूरि प्रीयमाणा महारथा: । उन सब लोगोंने प्रेमवश उसे छातीसे लगा लिया और उसका यथोचित सत्कार किया। इतना ही नहीं, बश्रुवाहनपर प्रसन्न हुए उन पाण्डव महारथियोंने उसे बहुत धन दिया ।। ७३६ || तथैव च महीपाल: कृष्णं चक्रगदाधरम्‌

Transliteration

dhanaṃ cāsmai dadur bhūri prīyamāṇā mahārathāḥ |

Translation

Satisfeitos no íntimo, os grandes guerreiros de carro lhe concederam abundantes riquezas. Movidos pelo afeto, abraçaram-no e o honraram como convinha—um gesto de gratidão e reconciliação após o conflito, afirmando o respeito pelo valor e pela conduta reta.
