राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations
ऋषभा: शास्त्रपठितास्तथा जलचराश्न ये । सर्वास्तानभ्ययुग्जंस्ते तत्राग्निचयकर्मणि
ṛṣabhāḥ śāstrapaṭhitās tathā jalacarāś ca ye | sarvāṁs tān abhyayujjaṁs te tatrāgnicayakarmaṇi ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: Aqueles touros entre os homens, versados nas escrituras, e também os ligados às águas, foram todos devidamente empregados ali no rito de construir o altar sagrado do fogo (agni-caya). Assim, cada grupo qualificado recebeu o seu papel próprio no labor sacrificial, conforme a regra e a ordem prescritas.
