अपना बछ। अंक अष्टाशीतितमो<् ध्याय: उलूपी और चित्राड़दाके सहित बभ्रुवाहनका रत्न-आभूषण आदिसे सत्कार तथा अभ्रमेध-यज्ञका आरम्भ वैशम्पायन उवाच स प्रविश्य महाबाहु: पाण्डवानां निवेशनम् | पितामहीमभ्यवन्दत् साम्ना परमवल्गुना
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | sa praviśya mahābāhuḥ pāṇḍavānāṁ niveśanam | pitāmahīm abhyavandat sāmnā paramavalguna ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: O de braços poderosos entrou na morada dos Pāṇḍavas e, com palavras supremamente doces e brandas, prestou reverente homenagem à sua avó. A cena ressalta a restauração da ordem após a guerra por meio da cortesia, da veneração aos mais velhos e da conduta dhármica no seio da família.
