इदमन्यच्च कौन्तेय वच: स पुरुषोडब्रवीत् | धनंजयस्य नृपते तन््मे निगदत: शूणु
idam anyac ca kaunteya vacaḥ sa puruṣo ’bravīt | dhanañjayasya nṛpate tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó filho de Kuntī, aquele homem falou ainda outra declaração. Ó rei, ouve de mim enquanto a relato—este ponto adicional que foi transmitido em conexão com Dhanañjaya (Arjuna).”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical importance of faithful transmission: the narrator carefully distinguishes an “additional statement” and asks the king to listen attentively, underscoring responsibility in reporting what was said about Arjuna.
Vaiśampāyana continues his account to King Yudhiṣṭhira, introducing that a certain man reported one more point connected with Arjuna (Dhanañjaya), and he now proceeds to relay it.
