उपयोक्तुं तदिच्छामि वाजिमेथे महाक्रतौ । “भगवन्‌! आपकी कृपासे जो वह रत्न लाया गया है, उसका अश्वमेध नामक महायज्ञमें मैं उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

upayoktuṃ tad icchāmi vājimethe mahākratau |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Com tua permissão, desejo empregar esse (objeto precioso) no grande rito sacrificial—o Aśvamedha—para que aquilo que foi obtido por tua graça seja dedicado a um propósito conforme ao dharma.”
