Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse

Educational Q&A

The passage teaches dharmic gratitude and humility: extraordinary help and wisdom (from Kṛṣṇa) should be met with reverent acknowledgment, and spiritual authority (Vyāsa) should be received with proper honor, reinforcing the ethical duty of honoring benefactors and sages.

After hearing of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s remarkable deeds, the Pāṇḍavas worship and praise him. Soon afterward, the sage Vyāsa comes to Hastināpura, and the Pāṇḍavas welcome and honor him according to proper custom.
