Janmaveśma-praveśa and Uttarā’s Śaraṇāgati
Entry into the Birth-Chamber and Uttarā’s Appeal
संजीवयैन दुर्धर्ष मृतं त्वमभिमन्युजम् । सदृशाक्षसुतं वीर सस्य॑ वर्षन्निवाम्बुद:
saṃjīvayaina durdharṣa mṛtaṃ tvam abhimanyujam | sadṛśākṣasutaṃ vīra sasyaṃ varṣann ivāmbudaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó herói inconquistável, restitui à vida este filho morto de Abhimanyu—aquele cujos olhos se assemelham aos do pai. Assim como uma nuvem de chuva, ao derramar água, faz florescer até a lavoura ressequida, do mesmo modo revive-o.”
