Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
कुले महति जातासि क्षत्रियाणां महात्मनाम् | मा शुचश्चपलाक्ष त्वं पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणे
kule mahati jātāsi kṣatriyāṇāṁ mahātmanām | mā śucaś capalākṣa tvaṁ padmapatranibhekṣaṇe ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Filha —tu, de olhos como pétalas de lótus— nasceste numa grande linhagem de kṣatriyas de alma elevada. Portanto, não te entregues ao luto por teu filho de olhar inquieto.”
