एवंविधे ममैते वै कुण्डले परमार्चिते । त्रिषु लोकेषु विज्ञाते तदभिज्ञानमानय,'ऐसे गुणोंसे युक्त होनेके कारण मेरे ये दोनों कुण्डल तीनों लोकोंमें परम प्रशंसित एवं प्रसिद्ध हैं। अतः आप महाराजकी अज्ञासे इन्हें लेने आये हैं, इसका कोई पहचान या प्रमाण लाइये”

evaṁvidhe mamāite vai kuṇḍale paramārcite | triṣu lokeṣu vijñāte tadabhijñānam ānaya |

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Assim são estes dois brincos meus—supremamente honrados e afamados pelos três mundos. Portanto, se vieste tomá-los por ordem do rei, traz algum sinal de reconhecimento, alguma prova dessa autoridade.”
