तमन्वयाद्‌ वानरवर्यकेतन: ससात्यकिर्माद्रवतीसुतावपि । अगाथबुद्धिर्विदुरश्च माधवं स्वयं च भीमो गजराजविक्रम:,उस समय उन माधवके पीछे कपिध्वज अर्जुन, सात्यकि, नकुल-सहदेव, अगाधबुद्धि विदुर और गजराजके समान पराक्रमी स्वयं भीमसेन भी कुछ दूरतक पहुँचानेके लिये गये

tam anvayād vānaravaryaketanāḥ sa sātyakir mādravatīsutāv api | agāthabuddhir viduraś ca mādhavaṁ svayaṁ ca bhīmo gajarājavikramaḥ ||

Então, quando Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) partia, Arjuna—cujo estandarte traz o mais excelso dos macacos—seguiu-o, juntamente com Sātyaki, os gêmeos filhos de Mādrī (Nakula e Sahadeva), Vidura de conselho insondável e o próprio Bhīma, valente como o senhor dos elefantes; foram com ele por certa distância para escoltá-lo.
