Educational Q&A

Liberation is linked to inner virtues: freedom from greed and anger, serenity, steadiness, and the dropping of possessiveness and ego. Knowing the Supreme’s greatness leads to an auspicious highest destiny.

Vāyudeva is instructing the listener by describing the marks of spiritually mature people and stating their फल (result): they become free from saṃsāra and attain the Supreme Self, gaining the best, merit-bearing state.
