Legitimate rule is tied to dharma and public welfare: when an unfit or displaced ruler is removed and a rightful successor is duly consecrated, social order is restored and the people rejoice—implying that kingship is a trust validated by proper succession and the consent/benefit of the subjects.
The previous holder of the kingship is removed, and his son Suvarcas is formally anointed as king. The populace responds with happiness, indicating approval and relief at the new arrangement.
