मरुत्तोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः — Genealogy to Marutta and the Logistics of Royal Sacrifice
य ईजे हयमेधानां शतेन विधिवत प्रभु: । याजयामास यं विद्वान् स्वयमेवाड्िरा: प्रभु:
ya īje hayamedhānāṁ śatena vidhivat prabhuḥ | yājayāmāsa yaṁ vidvān svayam evāṅgirāḥ prabhuḥ ||
Disse Vyāsa: Aquele soberano poderoso realizou devidamente cem sacrifícios de Aśvamedha. O sábio e venerável rishi Aṅgirā, ele próprio, oficiou como sacerdote e fez cumprir aqueles ritos — sinal da adesão do rei ao dharma prescrito e da autoridade legitimadora do ritual védico sob um verdadeiro conhecedor da tradição.
