Adhyāya 26 — Ekākṣara-Brahman (“Om”) and the Hṛdayastha Guru

एतदेवेदृशं सूक्ष्मं ब्रह्मचर्य विदुर्बुधा: । विदित्वा चान्वपद्यन्त क्षेत्रज्ञेनानुदर्शिता:
etad evīdṛśaṃ sūkṣmaṃ brahmacaryaṃ vidur budhāḥ | viditvā cānvapadyanta kṣetrajñenānudarśitāḥ ||
Os sábios sabem que isto, precisamente, é a essência sutil do brahmacarya. Tendo-o compreendido, e sendo guiados pelo Conhecedor do Campo (kṣetrajña), os homens despertos no conhecimento do Si o assumem e continuam a viver segundo ele, mantendo firmemente essa disciplina.
