ततः: संवर्तश्रैत्यगतो महात्मा यथा वल्लिः प्रज्वलितो द्वितीय: । हवींष्युच्चैराह्नययन् देवसंघान् जुहावाग्नौ मन्त्रवत् सुप्रतीत:,इसके बाद द्वितीय अग्निके समान तेजस्वी एवं यज्ञमण्डपमें बैठे हुए महात्मा संवर्तने अत्यन्त प्रसन्नचित्त होकर देववृन्दका उच्चस्वरसे आह्वान करते हुए मन्त्रपाठपूर्वक अग्निमें हविष्यका हवन किया
tataḥ saṃvartaśraityagato mahātmā yathā valliḥ prajvalito dvitīyaḥ | havīṃṣy uccair āhnayan devasaṃghān juhāvāgnau mantravat supratītaḥ ||
Então o grande-souled Saṃvarta, tendo tomado assento no recinto sacrificial, brilhou como um segundo fogo em chamas. Em voz alta invocou as hostes dos deuses e, com a mente serena e confiante no rito, lançou as oblações no fogo segundo a forma devida, acompanhadas da recitação de mantras.
