Marutta’s Sacrifice: Indra’s Threat, Saṃvarta’s Mantric Restraint, and Divine Reconciliation (अध्याय १०)
अग्निदेव तुम्हारी सब ओरसे रक्षा करें। देवराज इन्द्र तुम्हारे लिये जलकी नहीं
Agnidevaḥ tumhārī saba orase rakṣā kareṃ. Devarāja Indra tumhāre liye jalakī nahīṃ, sampūrṇa kāmanāoṃ kī varṣā kareṃ, aura tumhāre vadhake liye uṭhe hue aura jalarāśike sātha cañcala gati se cale hue mahāghora vajrako ve Devendra apane hāthameṃ hī rakhe raheṃ.
Saṃvarta disse: “Que Agni te proteja por todos os lados. Que Indra, rei dos deuses, faça chover sobre ti não mera água, mas a plena abundância dos teus desejos. E que o terrível vajra de Devendra—erguido para abater aquele que se levantar para te matar e arremessado com a velocidade inquieta de uma enxurrada—permaneça contido na própria mão dele.”
