अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
वैशम्पायन उवाच तस्य तद् वचन धर्म्यमनुमान्य गुणोत्तरम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tasya tad vacanaṃ dharmyam anumānya guṇottaram
Vaiśampāyana disse: Aprovando aquelas palavras como justas e marcadas por virtude superior, (eles as aceitaram e procederam de acordo).
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Speech aligned with dharma and enriched by good qualities deserves assent; ethical counsel is validated not merely by authority but by its righteousness and virtue.
