Vyāsa’s Inquiry into Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Tapas and the Identification of Vidura with Dharma
स चास्य सम्यड्मेधावी प्रत्यपद्यत वीर्यवान् । इसके बाद राजा धृतराष्ट्रने बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेनको सान्त्वना दी। बुद्धिमान् एवं पराक्रमी भीमसेनने भी उनकी बातोंको यथार्थरूपसे ग्रहण किया--हृदयसे स्वीकार किया
sa cāsya samyaṅ-medhāvī pratyapadyata vīryavān |
E ele—sagaz no entendimento e poderoso na força—aceitou de fato as palavras de Dhṛtarāṣṭra. Depois, o rei Dhṛtarāṣṭra consolou Bhīmasena, o primeiro entre os fortes; e Bhīmasena, inteligente e valente, recebeu aquele conselho tal como era, guardando-o no coração. A passagem realça o movimento ético: do luto e do conflito rumo à reconciliação, por meio da aceitação respeitosa da orientação de um ancião.
