Adhyāya 32: Tāpasānāṃ Darśanaṃ — Ascetics Seek to Identify the Pāṇḍavas

धर्मशीलो महातेजा: कुरूणां हितकृत्‌ तथा । ततः प्रोवाच ता: सर्वा: क्षत्रिया निहतेश्वरा:

dharmaśīlo mahātejāḥ kurūṇāṃ hitakṛt tathā | tataḥ provāca tāḥ sarvāḥ kṣatriyā nihateśvarāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana disse: Então o sábio de grande alma e fulgor—firme no dharma e sempre agindo pelo bem dos Kurus—dirigiu-se a todas aquelas mulheres kṣatriyas cujos senhores haviam sido mortos. De pé na água, proferiu palavras destinadas a guiar as viúvas pelo caminho que buscavam, assentando o luto delas numa resolução conforme ao dharma e conduzindo-as à reunião com seus maridos nos reinos que lhes estavam destinados.
