विद्यते न भयं चापि परलोकान्ममानघा: । “इसमें संदेह नहीं कि मैं आपलोगोंके दर्शनमात्रसे पवित्र हो गया। निष्पाप महर्षियो! अब मुझे परलोकसे कोई भय नहीं है
vidyate na bhayaṃ cāpi paralokān mamānaghāḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Ó sábios sem pecado, não tenho medo algum do outro mundo. De fato, apenas ao contemplar-vos fui purificado; por isso não há dúvida de que o além já não me inspira terror.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Association with the righteous—especially the direct sight (darśana) of sinless sages—is portrayed as spiritually purifying and as removing anxiety about one’s fate after death (paraloka).
In Vaiśaṃpāyana’s narration, a speaker expresses confidence about the hereafter, declaring that meeting and beholding the sages has purified him and dispelled any fear of the next world.
