Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)

Even amid sorrow and shock, one should return to dharma through steadiness and responsibility; a mother’s compassionate reassurance helps restore self-control so that necessary duties—especially ritual and care for others—can be carried out.
After being repeatedly consoled by their mother and regaining awareness, the Pāṇḍavas personally take the water-filled pitchers from others, indicating they are ready again to proceed with the required rites and actions.
