Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
पाण्डु: स्मरति ते नित्यं बलहन्तु: समीपग: । त्वां सदैव महाराज श्रेयसा स च योक्ष्यति,महाराज! तुम्हारे छोटे भाई पाण्डु इन्द्रके पास ही रहते हैं। वे सदा तुम्हें याद करते रहते हैं। निश्चय ही वे तुम्हें कल्याणके भागी बनायेंगे
pāṇḍuḥ smarati te nityaṁ balahantuḥ samīpagaḥ | tvāṁ sadaiva mahārāja śreyasā sa ca yokṣyati ||
Nārada disse: “Pāṇḍu, que permanece junto ao matador de Bala (Indra), lembra-se de ti constantemente. Ó grande rei, ele te tem sempre em mente e, com certeza, te ligará ao bem-estar e à bem-aventurança.”
