Arjuna and Yudhiṣṭhira instruct Vidura on honoring Dhṛtarāṣṭra
The verse highlights dharmic discipline: purification through tīrtha-bathing and the conscientious completion of prescribed rites. Ethical life is shown as sustained not only by grand vows but by steady observance of daily and auspicious duties performed with order and restraint.
After arriving at a sacred bathing place, Vidura and the others each bathe separately at different ghāṭas and then perform the full set of rites there—such as sandhyā worship—signaling a collective turn toward purification and religious observance in the forest-dwelling phase.
