ततो<नन्तरमेवात्र सर्ववर्णान्‌ महामते । अन्नपानरसौघेण प्लावयामास पार्थिव:,महामते! तदनन्तर सभी वर्णके लोगोंको भाँति-भाँतिके भोजन और पीनेयोग्य रस प्रदान करके राजाने उन सबको संतुष्ट कर दिया

Transliteration

tato 'nantaram evātra sarvavarṇān mahāmate | annapānarasaughena plāvayāmāsa pārthivaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: Então, imediatamente depois, ó sábio, o rei fez com que pessoas de todas as ordens sociais fossem supridas em abundância — como se fossem “inundadas” — por montes de comida, bebida e refrescos, satisfazendo a todos.
