धृतराष्ट्रस्य सत्कारः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra Honored in the Post-war Court

युधिष्ठटिरो महाराज धृतराष्ट्रे5भ्युपाहरत्‌ । तथैव कुन्ती गान्धार्या गुरुवृत्तिमवर्तत,महाराज! राजा युधिष्छिर बहुमूल्य शय्या, वस्त्र, आभूषण तथा राजाके उपभोगमें आने योग्य सब प्रकारके उत्तम पदार्थ एवं अनेकानेक भक्ष्य, भोज्य पदार्थ धृतराष्ट्रको अर्पण किया करते थे। इसी प्रकार कुन्तीदेवी भी अपनी सासकी भाँति गान्धारीकी परिचर्या किया करती थीं

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Yudhiṣṭhiro mahārāja Dhṛtarāṣṭre 'bhyupāharat; tathaiva Kuntī Gāndhāryā guru-vṛttim avartata, mahārāja.

Vaiśampāyana disse: O rei Yudhiṣṭhira apresentava regularmente oferendas a Dhṛtarāṣṭra. Do mesmo modo, Kuntī continuou a conduta devida aos mais velhos, servindo Gāndhārī com o respeito que se deve a uma anciã venerável. A passagem ressalta um dharma firme após a guerra: os vencedores não abandonam os anciãos do lado derrotado, mas os sustentam com honra, serviço e apoio material.
