नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
देवताओंने गुहावासी कुमारकी पूजा करके उनका सेनापतिके पदपर अभिषेक किया और तारकासुरने देवताओंपर जो अत्याचार किया था, सो कह सुनाया ।।
sa vivṛddho mahāvīryo devasenāpatiḥ prabhuḥ | jaghānāmoghayā śaktyā dānavaṁ tārakaṁ guhaḥ ||
Os deuses veneraram o jovem Kumāra, morador da gruta, e o ungiram, investindo-o no posto de comandante do exército divino; e narraram-lhe as violências que o asura Tāraka perpetrara contra eles. Quando atingiu a plenitude de sua força e bravura, Guha—grande herói, soberano e general das hostes celestes—abateu o Dānava Tāraka com seu poder divino infalível.
