स गर्भो दिव्यसंस्थानो दीप्तिमान्‌ पावकप्रभ: । दिव्यं शरवणं प्राप्य ववृधे प्रियदर्शन:

Transliteration

sa garbho divyasaṁsthāno dīptimān pāvakaprabhaḥ | divyaṁ śaravaṇaṁ prāpya vavṛdhe priyadarśanaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: “Aquela criança tinha forma celeste, era luminosa e brilhava com o fulgor do fogo. Agradável de ver, chegou ao divino canavial de juncos (Śaravaṇa) e, tendo ali nascido, cresceu dia após dia.”
