Educational Q&A

Bhīṣma affirms that the listener’s present course of action has been initiated correctly—implying that ethical undertakings should begin with proper intention, method, and alignment with dharma.

In the Anuśāsana Parva’s instruction sequence, Bhīṣma addresses Yudhiṣṭhira (honored as ‘bharatarṣabha’) and commends him for having properly begun the current inquiry/undertaking, setting a righteous tone for the ensuing counsel.
