ततः प्रोवाच ब्रह्मा तं शक्रं बलनिषूदनम्‌ । अवज्ञातास्त्वया नित्यं गावो बलनिषूदन

Transliteration

tataḥ provāca brahmā taṃ śakraṃ balanīṣūdanam | avajñātās tvayā nityaṃ gāvo balanīṣūdana ||

Translation

Então Brahmā dirigiu-se a Śakra (Indra), o destruidor de Bala: “Ó aniquilador de Bala, tens continuamente demonstrado desprezo pelas vacas. Por isso não conheces de fato a sua grandeza. Ó o melhor entre os deuses, escuta enquanto explico o poder imenso e a sagrada majestade da vaca.”
