Chapter 85: Suvarṇasya Janma ca Pradāna-Phalam
The Origin of Gold and the Merit of Gifting
इच्छाम त्वां वयं ज्ञातुं का त्वं क्व च गमिष्यसि । तत्त्वेन वरवर्णाभे सर्वमेतद् ब्रवीहि न:,इसलिये हम तुम्हारा परिचय जानना चाहती हैं। तुम कौन हो और कहाँ जाओगी? वरवर्णिनि! ये सारी बातें हमें ठीक-ठीक बताओ
icchāma tvāṁ vayaṁ jñātuṁ kā tvaṁ kva ca gamiṣyasi | tattvena varavarṇābhe sarvam etad bravīhi naḥ ||
Bhishma disse: “Desejamos conhecer-te de verdade—quem és e para onde vais. Ó senhora de tez formosa e brilho excelente, conta-nos tudo isso exatamente como é.”
