चन्द्रमण्डलशु भ्राणि किडुकिणीजालवन्ति च । अनेकशतभौमानि सान्तर्जलवनानि च

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | candramaṇḍalaśubhrāṇi kiḍukiṇījālavanti ca | anekaśatabhaumāni sāntarjalavanāni ca |

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: “Algumas (mansões ou palácios aéreos) eram ofuscantemente brancas como o disco da lua. Algumas eram adornadas com redes de franjas das quais pendiam pequenos sinos. Muitas tinham centenas de andares e terraços, e dentro delas havia belos reservatórios de água e bosques—mundos inteiros de prazer e abundância.”
