Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
भीष्म उवाच शृणुष्व मम कौन्तेय तिलदानस्य यत् फलम् | निशम्य च यथान्यायं प्रयच्छ कुरुसत्तम,भीष्मजीने कहा--कुन्तीनन्दन! कुरुश्रेष्ठ! तिलदानका जो फल है, वह मुझसे सुनो और सुनकर यथोचित रूपसे उसका दान करो
bhīṣma uvāca: śṛṇuṣva mama kaunteya tiladānasya yat phalam | niśamya ca yathānyāyaṁ prayaccha kuru-sattama ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Ó filho de Kuntī, ó melhor dos Kurus, ouve de mim o fruto do dom de gergelim. Tendo ouvido, dá em caridade de modo apropriado.”
