रथमश्वसमायुक्तं दत्त्वाश्विन्यां नरोत्तम: । हस्त्यश्वरथसम्पन्ने वर्चस्वी जायते कुले
ratham aśva-samāyuktaṃ dattvāśvinyāṃ narottamaḥ | hasty-aśva-ratha-sampanne varcasvī jāyate kule ||
Nārada disse: “Se um homem excelente doa uma carruagem atrelada a cavalos quando vigora a mansão lunar Aśvinī, ele renasce numa família provida de elefantes, cavalos e carruagens, e ali se torna uma pessoa radiante e ilustre.”
नारद उवाच
Charity performed with proper intention and at an auspicious time is praised as dharma and is said to yield tangible karmic results—prosperity, status, and personal radiance in a future birth.
Nārada is describing the specific merit (phala) of donating a horse-yoked chariot during the Aśvinī nakṣatra, stating that the donor attains rebirth in a well-equipped, prosperous lineage and becomes illustrious.
