Educational Q&A

Bhīṣma teaches that honoring women is integral to seeking prosperity and well-being; a household’s auspicious fortune is said to dwell where women are respected, protected, and guided within dharmic discipline.

In the Anuśāsana Parva, Bhīṣma instructs Yudhiṣṭhira on dharma and proper conduct. Here he emphasizes the ethical and social duty of honoring women as a foundation for household welfare and prosperity.
