Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
आहृय दयितं शिष्यं विपुलं प्राह भार्गवम् । फिर उन महा तपस्वीने मन-ही-मन उसकी रक्षाका उपाय सोचकर अपने प्रिय शिष्य भगुवंशी विपुलको बुलाकर कहा--
āhṛya dayitaṃ śiṣyaṃ vipulaṃ prāha bhārgavam |
Bhishma disse: Tendo mandado chamar seu amado discípulo Vipula, o Bhārgava dirigiu-se a ele. O grande asceta, refletindo intimamente sobre como proteger o que estava em jogo, chamou o querido aluno e falou—pondo em marcha uma salvaguarda cuidadosa, guiada pelo dharma, e não uma reação impetuosa.
