तां दृष्टवा चारुसर्वाज्धीं पप्रच्छाप्सरसं मुनि: । संशयो हृदि कश्रिन्मे ब्रूहि तन्मे सुमध्यमे,मनोहर अंगोंसे युक्त उस अप्सराको देखकर मुनिने उसके सामने अपना प्रश्न रखा --'सुमध्यमे! मेरे हृदयमें एक महान् संदेह है। उसके विषयमें मुझे यथार्थ बात बताओ”
tāṁ dṛṣṭvā cāru-sarvāṅgīṁ papracchāpsarasaṁ muniḥ | saṁśayo hṛdi kaścin me brūhi tan me sumadhyame ||
Ao ver aquela apsarā, bela em todos os seus membros, o sábio perguntou-lhe: “Ó tu de cintura esbelta, uma grande dúvida surgiu em meu coração. Dize-me a verdade a respeito disso.”
