Transliteration

sarpa-sparśa-samāḥ kecit tathānye makara-spṛśaḥ | vibhāṣya-ghātinaḥ kecit tathā cakṣur-haṇo 'pare ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: “Alguns seres são como serpentes ao toque, enquanto outros são como crocodilos no contato. Alguns destroem ao proferir uma maldição, e outros reduzem alguém a cinzas apenas com um olhar irado.”
