Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
जात्यन्धैरिह तुल्यास्ते मृत: पड़गुभिरेव च । समर्था ये न पश्यन्ति गड़ां पुण्यजलां शिवाम्
jātyandhair iha tulyās te mṛtāḥ paṅgubhir eva ca | samarthā ye na paśyanti gaṅgāṃ puṇyajalāṃ śivām ||
Disse o Siddha: Aqui, aqueles que são capazes e, ainda assim, não contemplam a auspiciosa Gaṅgā—cujas águas são sagradas—não são melhores do que os cegos de nascença, os coxos, ou mesmo os mortos.
