Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
यान्यगम्यानि तीर्थाणि दुर्गाणि विषमाणि च | मनसा तानि गम्यानि सर्वतीर्थसमीक्षया
yāny agamyāni tīrthāni durgāṇi viṣamāṇi ca | manasā tāni gamyāni sarvatīrthasamīkṣayā ||
Se alguém anseia contemplar todos os tīrtha (vados sagrados), então aqueles lugares de peregrinação a que o corpo não pode chegar—por serem de acesso difícil ou por se acharem em terreno áspero—devem ser visitados pela mente, mediante contemplação e revisão de todos os tīrtha. O ensinamento afirma que a intenção sincera e a recordação interior podem completar o que o corpo não alcança, sem abandonar o fim ético da peregrinação.
