Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
ब्राह्मणानां गवां चैव कन्यानां च युधिष्ठिर । येडन्तरं यान्ति कार्येषु ते वै निरयगामिन:,युधिष्ठिर! जो बाह्मण, गौ तथा कन्याओंके लिये हितकर कार्यमें विघ्न डालते हैं, वे भी अवश्य ही नरकगामी होते हैं
brāhmaṇānāṁ gavāṁ caiva kanyānāṁ ca yudhiṣṭhira | ye ’ntaraṁ yānti kāryeṣu te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Ó Yudhiṣṭhira, aqueles que criam obstáculo ou interferem em assuntos destinados ao bem-estar dos Brāhmaṇas, das vacas e das donzelas—esses, com certeza, estão destinados ao inferno.”
