bhīṣma uvāca | atha sā strī tam uvāca bāḍham evaṁ bhavatv iti | tailaṁ divyam upādāya snānaśāṭīm upānayat |
Bhīṣma disse: Então aquela mulher lhe disse: “Assim seja; que aconteça como dizes.” Tomando um óleo divino, trouxe um pano para o banho. O episódio prossegue o tom ético do diálogo ao mostrar assentimento pronto, hospitalidade e a cuidadosa preparação de um ato purificatório — a limpeza exterior como apoio à disciplina interior e ao dharma.
