Aṣṭāvakra–Strī-saṃvāda: Dhṛti, hospitality, and a dispute on autonomy
विदितो भगवानस्य कार्यमागमनस्य यत् । पश्यैनं त्वं महाभागं ज्वलन्तमिव तेजसा,“आपका आगमन और इस आगमनका जो उद्देश्य है, वह सब कुछ कुबेरको पहलेसे ही ज्ञात है। देखिये, ये महाभाग धनाध्यक्ष अपने तेजसे प्रकाशित होते हुए आ रहे हैं'
vidito bhagavān asya kāryam āgamanasya yat | paśyainaṃ tvaṃ mahābhāgaṃ jvalantam iva tejasā |
Disse Bhīṣma: “Kubera, o Senhor das riquezas, já conhece de antemão a tua vinda e o propósito desta chegada. Olha—esse ilustre Kubera, tesoureiro dos deuses, aproxima-se, ardendo como se fosse chama, com o próprio fulgor.”
